To help your website visitors find the brand new advisor on your website, we suggest having multiple entry points to the conversation.
Here are some ways you can create entry points :
1. Website Homepage
On the homepage, the teaser doesn't have to be a full size banner. It can also take up a smaller place with a clear CTA. For eg, it can be a label, sticker, small banner, strip etc.
Example : On the banner
Example : Just after the banner
2. Product List Page
Here a full size teaser is suggested to gain visibility over multiple small elements
Example : On the top bed
Example : In between of the products. Its also good to have it once again through the entire page scroll. Here user has already browsed through a few products and would appreciate the advisor.
3. As a menu option
The advisor can be an even more integral part of your website when placed in the menu.
Example : Desktop & Mobile
For enhancing the multiple entry approach, we would like to share some tips with you :
1. Be consistent :
All the banners/teasers/buttons should be in a similar tone and language. If the button says "Launch advisor" then the teaser should also say the same. Try to maintain the same color scheme and pattern across all these elements.
2. Be short and crisp :
Try to keep the text at the minimum with a direct message. Adding multiple lines of text might get overwhelming to a viewer and might usually get skipped.
3. Prominent call to action :
Always have an actionable teaser/banner. It can either have a clickable element like a primary button or the element itself can look clickable.
